Dan Jarvis – Hydrogeological Modeller

Daniel Jarvis has extensive experience as an environmental scientist specialising in hydrogeological modelling, surface water balance modelling and data analysis for contaminated site and acid sulphate soils investigations. Relevant project experience includes the following:

  • Multilayer numerical groundwater model development using steady state and transient modelling for simulating dewatering required for Austin cove, Queens Riverside Development, Cygnia Cove, Point Grey, Port Bouvard and Bandy Creek.
  • Modelling of saturated and unsaturated zones in the Fortesque Marsh using GMSv7.1, Visual Modflow and HYDRUS1D for FMG.
  • Groundwater modelling and data analysis for dewatering, flooding investigations and contamination transport at Princeton Private Estate.
  • Contamination data management and statistical analysis of soil and groundwater monitoring data from Barrow Island and Thevenard Island for Chevron Australia.
  • Hydrogeological investigation of the superficial aquifer for the assessment of groundwater flow into a proposed canal development site.
  • Hydrogeological assessment for the drilling and installation of production bores including pumping tests, involving both pre-test and post-test groundwater modelling for ROCLA.
