Anna Valikovs - Project Coordinator

Anna is a Project Manager with over five years experience in environmental investigations encompassing the mining and land development industries. Anna holds a BSc in Environmental Management (Land Management) from Edith Cowan University. Anna’s experience includes project management of hydrogeological works; field work associated with groundwater investigations including drilling and test pumping works; groundwater sampling and monitoring; salt lake sampling and vegetation monitoring; contamination assessments; preparation of sampling and analysis programs; remediation and validation programs for contaminated land; and preliminary acid sulfate soil assessments. Recent project experience includes:

• Groundwater exploration and borefield development – supervision of a drilling programme for the installation of up to 40 production bores and numerous monitor bores at the new Grey Mare Borefield. Included lithological logging of bore holes, provision of bore designs, supervision of test pumping, ongoing groundwater monitoring, hydraulic analysis and assistance with groundwater licensing as well as overall camp management duties.
• Annual Compliance Reporting – salt lake sampling, vegetation monitoring, groundwater monitoring, data collation and analysis, and report compilation, Three Springs Talc Mine.
• Annual Environmental Report – collation and analysis of groundwater data, and preparation of the annual report, Jundee.
• Contamination assessments for Barrow Island and Thevenard Island, assisting with data collation and reporting.
• Contamination assessment and hazardous materials survey of the former Watsonia small goods and dairy factory and surrounding former market garden land, Coogee.
• Contamination assessment of a proposed development site in South Hedland comprising a medical centre, aquatic centre and other facilities, Port Hedland.
• Contamination investigations for former market gardens including human health and ecological risk assessments; preparation of a Sampling and Analysis Plan; Detailed Site Investigation; Remedial Action Plan and Remediation/Validation program for former market garden land, Urban Focus Development, Lake Coogee.
• Contamination assessment including soil, air and groundwater monitoring and review of development options for a 20,000m³ construction and demolition waste material stockpile on leasehold land, Perth airport.
